The eighth National Undergraduate Employability Awards (NUE Awards), took place on 24 February in London, attracting over 500 stakeholders from the graduate recruitment sphere. Within the Awards employers were rewarded for their tackling key issues such as diversity, student engagement and for providing paid opportunities within small to medium sized companies.
The event was organised by RMP Enterprise Ltd, sponsored by PwC, AGR and AGCAS. Guests were treated to presentations by Stephen Isherwood from the AGR, Dr. Paul Redmond, Director of Student Life at the University of Manchester and double gold medallist, Rebecca Adlington OBE.

Most Improved Commitment to Employability
Winner – University of Southampton, Employer Engagement Team
This Award celebrates the increased commitment provided by a university department, placement or careers service in helping students apply and maximise their work experience opportunities.
Outstanding Contribution to Work Experience
Winner – Ann Cooper, University of Southampton
This Award celebrates the tireless and invaluable contributions made by a particular individual within a university to help students apply and maximise their work experience opportunities.
